So, now that I have proven to myself that I can run more than 20 minutes in a row without bursting into flames I am planning on running a 10K next. If anyone is thinking about taking up running there are some great programs out there to get you over any training hurdles. I really like the Couch to 5K program (C25K) and the Ease Into 10K program (EI10K), they break your runs into manageable bits of walking and running and they are really effective. I have already downloaded the EI10K program for my iPhone and will start it tomorrow, but my REAL goal is to eventually run a half marathon. I don’t want to run just any half marathon, I want to run the Disney Princess Half Marathon! I included the link below so you can check it out, but basically you run around Walt Disney World and all of the Disney characters are lined up along the running route. A lot of the women who run this race wear tutus and crowns and other super-cute princess gear, and I am totally going to be one of them!

It is going to be a while before I work up to running 13.1 miles (perhaps a long while) but I have already decided that when I run the Princess Half Marathon I am going to be wearing a yellow tutu in honor of my favorite Disney Princess Belle!
