I found these chips in the Paris airport (no, I was not going to Paris 😦 ). Does the flavor Bolognaise exist outside of Europe?
I assume the flavor they were going for is the flavor of the Italian sauce Bolognese, or Ragu alla Bolognese if you want to be a stickler. Of course I bought and tried the chips. They were sweet and a little tangy, kind of like barbeque chips. I didnt really get the sensation that I was eating a tomato-based sauce flavoring, but they were good. I feel like these are probably a European thing, but I could be wrong. Has anyone in North America ever seen this flavor? Any new weird chip flavors coming out in America?
