A couple of months ago I bought my first serious camera.  The problem is that I have no idea what 90% of the buttons/options do.  In an effort to learn about my camera and photo techniques I am going to be participating in the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge.  The idea is that each week a topic is announced and you photograph what represents that topic for you.

Last week’s challenge was Fall.  A new topic has already been announced so I am late posting my Fall picture.  Technically you are supposed to post your picture before the next week’s topic is announced, but this is my blog and I will break any rules I want!

While the calendar says October, it feels more like late August and the leaves have not started to change color.  Fall is my favorite season so I am more than a little annoyed that it has not shown its face yet.  I found these gourds the other day and I knew they would be the perfect way to bring a little autumnal spirit to my house since Mother Nature is not helping out.  I think the green one in the back is my favorite.  Or maybe the oddly shaped orange and green one.  I really can’t decide.
