Beach Reads

Beach season is in full swing around here.

Too bad my closest beach is an hour away.

No worries, that’s why kiddie pools were invented right?  It will be around 97 degrees tomorrow, which means my kiddie pool is going to make its first appearance of the season this weekend.

While splashing around in said pool, I will be lost in the land of beach reads.

What are your favorite beach reads of all time?  Any new ones exciting you?

I still always think of this book when I think of a great summer read, a journey story of women brought together by the wishes of a friend that connects them all:
Annie Freeman’s Fabulous Traveling Funeral by Kris Radish
I’ve got the Historian [ vampire read ] to start… I’m pretty random and like to mix up my reads. Some of these sound good and I’m going to see if there is a Kindle version 🙂

I love the title of Annie Freeman’s Fabulous Traveling Funeral! I think I am going to have to add it to my list. How is the Historian? I am a huge vampire nerd!

My Mom and Best Friend swear the historian is amazing. I have it in my bag to read, normally I’m a kindle reader so its taken me a bit to actually pull it off the shelf. My Mom said it was a bit lengthy on the intro where Misha said it was a grabber so… but I’m excited having visited Castle Bran to read of Vlad will have my visuals going. 🙂
